This is my ode to Topo Chico. Topo Chico is a sparkly mineral water with a sharp, bubbly taste, some say best served with a wedge of lime. I screen printed three images based on the Topo Chico label and bottle. There are three variations of this image and 5 prints in total. Each print measures 17″ x 23″ (43x78cm) and is hand printed on Japanese archival paper
This first variation is a one-color screen print on 17″ x 23″ (43x78cm) Japanese archival paper. Inspiration for this print stems from Warhol’s Coca-Cola print. This is an edition of 1.
This is a two-color screen print on 17″ x 23″ (43x78cm) Japanese archival paper. This is a one off based off the one color variation shown above.
Finally this is the third edition: three color (cyan, magenta, yellow, no black) screen print on 17″ x 23″ (43x78cm) Japanese archival paper. On this variation I mask out the large Topo Chico logo that appears on the right side as shown in the above images. These were printed in an edition of three.
