HOPE Wall Progress
Miss Bugs at Brooklynite Gallery
This past weekend I attended the Miss Bugs show at Brooklynite Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. The work was quite impressive, and I really enjoyed the space and setting. The show runs from June 25 – July 16. More info at brooklynitegallery.com. Below are a few pictures from the event.

Finished Materials
I have been working on screen printing my materials for the HOPE mural wall in Austin. I finished printing all my patterns, despite working outdoors in the 100F heat. The heat dried the paint in the screens fast, so keeping the screens moist was a constant effort. Some of the prints are rather rough, but it will add to the aesthetic I am trying to achieve. All the prints have been trimmed by one inch all around so that they bleed off the page. The result is seamless tiles. Below are some shots of the actual screen prints. Some are 2 colors and some only one; about 100 sheets total measuring 17″ x 23″ each.
